Why Walk?

Walk! Walk! Walk! Walk is what I do! In November, 2008 it became a way of life to rid this form of 53 pounds of excess weight.  Now it is what I do to keep it off, along with healthy eating habits.

This year God is calling me to walk for the benefit of others.  Starting January 1, 2017 the walk plan is to walk 1,500 miles by December 31, 2017. While these steps are taken, I am asking you to contribute what you are compelled to towards HOPE worldwide Cleveland Chapter.

HOPE worldwide’s vision is to bring hope and change the lives of the world’s most poor, sick and suffering. HOPE worldwide is an international charity that changes lives by harnessing the compassion and commitment of dedicated staff and volunteers to deliver sustainable, high-impact, community-based services to the poor and needy.

For every mile walked I pray that $1 is contributed.  Contribute as little or as much as God compels you to give.  My prayer is that by December 31, 2017 1,500 miles will have been walked and $1,500 will have been raised for HOPE worldwide Cleveland Chapter.  My name is Juel Fitzgerald.  I am a member of the Cleveland Church of Christ who is intimately tied to the Cleveland Chapter of HOPE worldwide.

You can help in one of two ways – 1. donate or 2. walk.  Walking is an easy way to keep God’s temple fit for his purposes.  You can contact me at juelfitz@gmail.com if you want to join me in walking by setting your own goal of miles for 2017.  You can also contact me through my Contact page.

Thank you for your support and prayers in this endeavor.
